North Star Psychological Services

My Story
Imagine a moment when everything changes. A dream was born at the approach of a "big number" birthday and having completed 20 years of public school service, on a clear night at our home in the Litchfield Hills.
As I have for 25 years, I aim to provide the highest quality evaluations to individuals and families in need. The critical nature of excellent evaluations becomes apparent when listening to the challenges many have in their lives and learning. I have worked, throughout my career, to acquire the specific knowledge and skill set to work at the highest level. I complete comprehensive assessments with a thorough understanding of the needs of schools and Special Education regulations and processes. My assessments for college-aged individuals are complete with the experienced knowledge of those needs and challenges.
I have a true passion to help people gain insight into their loved one or themself. I work with a goal of transparency, honesty and integrity. I believe that working with families and individuals in a forthright manner provides the best opportunity for understanding and change. It is my goal to inform and to help guide individuals through the murky, and often frustrating process, of understanding and support. Like the north star has for travelers for 1000s of years, I hope to help guide you to a better understanding of your self or loved one.
